It's all the same to me. Up, down, up, down, up, pint, badger (allegedly), down, up, down.

the downhill in discussion is probably one of the holmbury ones. it's actually the long gradual climb after the little short steep motha 'ucker on last years route...you'll recognise the fork in the road that people often get confused with..only this time i hope it doesn't throw too many spanners in the works

THIS RIDE IS CAPPED
Tuesday March 16th The Widowmaker 19:09 at Waterloo http://www.gmap-pedometer.com
A 29 miler. 3 major climbs including the 18% whitedown.bring a map, phone, money, spare tubes, spare batteries, a quality light, food, etc.
ride alongside someone who knows the route or at least knows how to get back to a train station if you get lost (phone reception is dodgy) if the hills split people apart wait at the top till we all gather.the theory is that the second group will play catch up. when that happens we'll all wait at key points in the ride for everyone else. key points are 1) top of pitch hill 2) top of cold harbour/ holmbury 3) top of the widowmaker

I can't get a bigger cog in time so I'm stuck on on 46/17. 71GI.
Fuck that I'm bringing my gears
^that's right - we only came down the first crest of Leith Hill shortly *before *getting to the pub.
@wools - out of the 20t and the 22t, I'd go for the 21t.
