Well, just watched all 5 seasons, been watching since November - good way to pass the shitty winter weather. One word:

'ACE'

Didn't like the way Omar got killed - shit way to go for such a badass
Didn't like Levy getting away with being a dodgy cunt
Didn't like Stansfield gettin away with everything
Didn't like Chris not getting killed
Didn't like seeing Duquan getting hooked on smack

Did like Snoops getting done, cunt of a character
Did like Cheese getting done, cunt of a character
Did like the fact that Rawls was seen in the gay bar but no-one knowing he was an iron
Did like the fact Bubbles cleaned up his act

RIP Butch and 'Prop' Joe

Only kidding, haven't watched any of this although Dominic West was quite funny on HIGNFY so may have to give it a go.

The wire stole entire weekends from me. Wake up, drink coffee, watch the wire. It was fine until I could no longer get entire series on bittorrent. The final series I was downloading each week as it came outin the USA.

It was a shock...but the pathetic tragedy of it seemed quite appropriate. That you can plan your vendetta all you want but its hard to factor in an 8 year-old with a gun. But would have been cool for him to go down in a blaze of glory attacking Marlow.

Has anyone watched The Corner? Written by the same guy (who wrote the book the Wire was based on), its really good. Like the Wire but just focussing on, umm, the corner and the characters that go with it.

The Corner is on my to-watch list.

They knew it was probaly the last time they'd see each other just a case of who fucked who first. Was shocked to see D'angelo go too but he was fuckin ugly so no great loss

Loved seeing Michael pull out the gun and finish Snoop. Bit like Mafia style, he knew he was on his way to his 'grave' and got in first. Hated that Snoop cunt, awful voice
