says 9am for 9.30 start at the top of the page. I would prefer an 8am start like last sat. ride to Southend-on-Mud

What's the difference?

It's nice and all for those who live nearby to leave at 8.00am, but please spare a thought for those of us who have to travel miles just to get to the start. I had to get up at 5.30am on the day of the Southend ride.

I'm voting 8.30 as the beeb is saying the weather's going to turn rainy in the afternoon - hopefully this way we can make it there without getting drenched.
