i was away in at southport weekender partying. great weekend. good to see damo up there too, even if it was only briefly...

dude, did you not read the OP. or the Corny Worldwide Tour thread. I'm in Argentina as of now, and will be in Brazil when most of the other rides go down. As much as I'd love to be there, I'm not travelling back for them.
I've put up four rides for the people, because long rides are fun. And left it to those who put their names down to sort out the lists, and so forth. See Southend for a ride which looks like it will have legs.

No-one's taken it on, basically. If someone looks after the nuts and bolts (which is not at all difficult), then people will turn up whatever the weather. I can't lead a ride at the moment, sadly, or I would. :(

if you don't make it clear its a joke when writing it down in posts aimed at me, I'll take it at face value. Just the way it goes with me I'm afraid. If you don't put the subtext into your posts, I'm not able to interpret it for you...

Glad your following the travels, and please take note for any of the other rides I've organised. Someone needs to take the reins. Southend looks a dead cert to go ahead and be fine, but I have my doubts about Cambridge and Oxford. We shall see....

yeah skully and stix are going to be at the helm navigation-wise. looks like it will be a good turn out. apparently saturday is going to be a scorcher here.

i am on the list for cambridge, although i have just realised i am away that weekend...

i can't do the oxford one as i am in sweden doing the vatternrundan (180 miles in 1 day around a lake in sweden)

damo is first on the list for both rides and is a good man to help sort out those rides.

organising rides from the other side of the world was always going to be a tall order! the southend ride proves that you can do it though.

where are you now? still in south america?

sorry to hear about your hard disk. i have been in a similar situation with regards to losing travel photos... it is heart breaking. but fuck it, no one can take the memories. mine were stolen too, which really rubbed salt in the wounds.
