    Today is cool with me . . . . .

Any time before around 6 - 7, I like to start drinking around that time to set myself up for a real mind shocker by around 11.00pm.

  • Be careful with that quick release, Tynan. No more shooting skewers through pub windows. Especially not in London's famous Old Street.

    Ha !

It was actually a Bank window, but well remembered anyhow, it is terrifying to think that the bolt end of the QR cleared a four lane road (Edgeware Road) and still had enough force to put a 'bullet hole' in the thick security glass !!

  • I've not forgotten as it's an anecdote I tell friends with QR wheels. Makes me chuckle every time. Especially the thought of you walking away from fleeing the scene of the 'crime'!

The things was it made such a load crack/bang noise that it really did sound like someone has shot at the window from a passing car, when the staff came running out they were all looking up the road to see if they could spot the fleeing car.

I only tighten my QRs up 'hand tight' now !!

Still a good weapon if you ever need to kill someone.
