1 - I still have a lot I'm afraid! We don't drift far from Petersfield if you notice.

2 - The only people using it are 'fixies' looking for Tags.

Old one is by the new Microsoft building, train station, the tag before last, etc. btw, that crankset is outrageous!

The ring was drilled for me by a friend in the States. I am a bit into Drillium - you should see the brake stirrup. The arms look a bit fragile in the image but they are tapered (countersunk) and not as bad as they look.

I think it looks great. Does it actually feel different? Or is it just more of a look/weight thing?
Also, is it (just) as simple as drilling holes in stuff, or is there more to it? I wonder if I should try it....

the tapering of each hole is meant to prevent cracking. If you just drill a hole as some people have done, you run the risk of your parts snapping. I wouldn't do it but it does look nice. As far as I know it is a weight saving but increases drag so has a net effect of zero :)

Maybe one day then, when I've got something spare that I don't mind probably ruining to try it on.
