is that the gay bar you worked in?
-
• #131
Haha nope that was West 5, though if we go there i'm sure we'd get discount if we wore lycra!
And the music is even better than the GH.

Tags are excellent.
I was at the Crabtree with Dropout and Morgasm on Friday night and it was really good. It wasn't as busy as we thought it would be and the atmosphere was generally quite nice. I wouldn't mind trying out the Crabtree again but I'm also all for The Old Ship.
The Ship in summer will be good...

or the george and devonshire in Chsiwick?
G&D is shit, really. Service is terrible, despite being over the road from Fullers, they manage to ruin every single barrel they get, and sometimes there is no ale and no guinness. Plus it's packed full of IMG people every single night. (I used to work at IMG btw. They might have fired everyone by now.)
Plus points are a pool table, a car park and a garden with good heaters. And a function room with grand piano. -

Yeah because what West Beers really needs is a grand piano

I vote move too.
Had some great fucking times there though[t]
Like when I was being sick on that bike in the corner which is perpetually locked to that ladder...

Whoah. This is what happens when you don't attend Wests for a bit. The GH has clearly gone downhill. I'm all for a move to the Ship for the better weather, we don't get much love from them but the venue is sweet.
Its a shame we had to leave the Crabtree. But some quality nights were had at the GH last year.
Mike, is that picture (of the bloodied cage fighter) really the owner?

Let's just tell the GH that unless they can magic a decent garden, a river view and random attractive passing wildlife then we're off back to The Ship but we'll be back in the winter.
Seems fair to me.
