  • Gunnersbury Park
    New

    Clue to follow

    faaand it on google

  • Meh. It's the diagonally opposite end of town from me.

  • Oh, you went far... -__-
I'm literally gonna ride past this later, but don't wanna hog the game...

  • Go ahead

  • By the way, part of my inspiration was this:

If it helps I actually got by doing a bit of detective work on those who've commented on it, working out their stomping ground, not too stalkerish I hope!

  • I wrote that ages ago, can't even remember which tag that was for. Inspiration for what by the way?
I got the Gunnersbury one the other way round from wvm - a moment of inspiration in the bathroom bury bury ....arsenal? GUNNERS...

  • think wblati lives near there, only time I've ever been. was a trek. don't think he plays tag though.
    yeah, I know, csb.

  • ^^For putting a tag at each of the cardinal points of London, just inside the boundary.

  • Hhhhmmmmm new tag is pretty close, if it's not gone by tomorrow I'll have to go get it.

  • Yes mate, keep it local, eh? ;)

  • Or I could pull a dick move and bring it to Peckham lol

  • ^^^ So it's Oat44 we have to thank for the epic tags (Eurostar came through Rainham Marshes today - triggered some slightly uncomfortable memories!)

  • +1 Peckham

  • Oh, you went far... -__-

Ha! This was a fall-back tag I admit. I decided to do them in reverse order for a change and my intended tag was victim of conniving technical gremlins. I'm not sure if it is tag etiquette to post it before the other one has been got, but why not. So a choice of two for you:

    a related film reference

  • Well now we're really up the junction.

  • ^^on my way. Please let me have this!

  • Old; Clapham junction. Really sad the party shop has closed down.
On the plus side, Wimpy is still going strong.

  • First ever tag, so tell me if it's too hard/easy/boring
I might post another picture from the same location later as a clue.

    New:

  • congrats to william. Anyone get the film reference?

  • from wikipedia

Up the Junction is a 1968 British film directed by Peter Collinson and starring Dennis Waterman, Suzy Kendall, Adrienne Posta, Maureen Lipman and Liz Fraser. It is based on the book of the same name by Nell Dunn and was adapted by Roger Smith. The film's musical soundtrack was recorded by Manfred Mann.

    New:

Nice bike - what length top tube?

  • Day off, sunny weather but yet again don't know the tag!

  • Nice bike - what length top tube?

Thank you. The tt is 56cm c-c.

It's a 1996 Basso Astra in Columbus El nivacrom, lightest steel bike in the peloton at the time.

  • We've had tags from hills with very similar views but the triangulation tells me this has not been done before.

  • ^ I was thinking that. I know the area, but having difficulty remembering that exact spot.
