Come on Bruce!! Why did you not take your mudgard off for the picture, it spoils your beautiful bike!!

Because even though the mudguard is easily removable (and, indeed, deflatable), I was worried somebody would beat me to it while I was trying to copy and paste urls (and type out img tags) on my smartphone. No time wasted on mudguards.

He's right, it's a smashing frame that. Was admiring it at the pub last night.

There was a bloke at the velodrome on Sunday who was born not far from Pat Hanlon's workshop and has been looking for one of her frames for years. Seeing mine, and hearing how (relatively) little I paid for it, both made and ruined his day.

Ok if anyone wants this one, you've got about 45 mins for me to get home.

It was actually fail from the beginning.

Old: deep-level shelter entrance on Clapham High Street

in case anyone is interested, I found out about the deep level shelter at the Forgotten Spaces exhibit that was at Somerset House a few months ago. It was of new uses for forgotten spaces in our city. The Urban Climbing Tunnel won 2nd place. I wanted to tag the entrance on the corner at Clapham Park Rd. but it's covered in 'Clapham...' signs!

Unhelpful non-clue: I was doored by an E-reg Toyota just along from there at about 9.45pm on 10 February 1995. The driver's insurance coughed up enough to pay off my remaining student debt.
