Ear, ear. Is there no stopping braker?

I'm loving the extra security charade for the olympics. Apparently is all to appease the americans and Israelis and to fullfill IOC demands.
The problem is that in the UK noone except armed police can carry guns on the street, no even Mossad, and there aren't enough for every athlete to have a guard. Certain Olympic teams want an armed guard everywhere they go, but they can't. So they've been appeased by some flashy missiles on a roof somewhere which are bugger all use to anything except a fireworks display. Ha. One bit of Olympic farce that actually made me smile.

save the Handball Arena from the Iranians
What Iranians have to do with the security of the Olympics ? :D

They are known for attempting to take handball tournaments by force. Truly despotic.
I hope this will suffice, Foxatron... I didn't spot HMS Blazer or any of the Ninja Dingy Squad out this evening, and no big choppers swinging about either.
Indeed, perfect! You didn't see any big choppers because they're all parked on HMS Ocean, where they live when not doing these exercises.
I would also have accepted the missiles on Blackheath or the yuppie flats in Bow, or anything else anyone could spot...

I bombed down to greeenwich last night, swapped brief pleasentries with one of five (five!) security guards loitering outside the Cutty Sark, swooped back to Euston, Fired up the computer only to find braker had leisurely completed the task 15 minutes before...
One day I will bag one of these... One day.

I think bombing in Greenwich or Bow is probably a very bad idea given the current security status.

Tempted to grab this one as well, but will step aside - three on the bounce is a bit greedy.

Back of the Alexandra and Ainsworth estate, overlooking the lines into Euston

Keeping with the rail theme, the westerly of a pair of stations
I hope this will suffice, Foxatron... I didn't spot HMS Blazer or any of the Ninja Dingy Squad out this evening, and no big choppers swinging about either.
Old Tag: Theatre deployment from HMS Ocean which is docked in Greenwich for the Olympics. Presumably here to save the Handball Arena from the Iranians and/or Talibans. Pics of the exercise Fox tagged: http://pictures.metro.co.uk/london-2012-olympic-security-exercise-may-2012/1457839/Olympics-security
