Was more sounding you out to see if it was where I thought it was. Still no way I can foresee myself getting there before tomorrow evening.

Stairs?!?! The cyclists enemy? How am I meant to know where that is?
Though looking at them I think I just cycled past them. Bugger.

Druggie stairwell near the London Spoons

quicker than I thought someone would get it.

Good work, sheeet I thought those stairs were impossible unless one of you lives there and everyone recognised it from visiting. congrats. I know the new one but will leave for someone else as work shy bods like me need to let others play. I did get some nice pics whilst out in the glorious sun today, for once I was glad I did'nt have a job.

I know this. It's amazing that it still hasn't opened. How could you bear to leave your bike on the other side of the street to take a photo?

By not really thinking things through :)
Once I crossed the road I thought "er, hang on a minute - if someone runs off with it, I can't exactly dash through all this traffic"

Ha. Good job that didn't happen!

Good knowledge of the spoon 'art' in that stairwell, though the blog says Farringdon Road... It's really under Rosebery Avenue, right?
-
• #717
That's the staircase that leads to Warner Yard isn't it?

Hey, those who've done more than one already, chill out and let some others get involved!
#gutted I didn't look at the thread yesterday as I was off...
Yeah, I reckon Skully has a point here. Oliver made it earlier too. Would be good to spread the love a little. See some people who aren't the usual forum whores pop up with a tag...

hah! I thought they were the Holborn Viaduct stairs.
-
• #722
well the current one is doable by anyone I reckon, although a straw poll of easts suggests that nobody has a clue where it is. i'lll post a daylight photo tomorrow if it's still up for grabs

This is really strange, as it's right on one of the main routes east. :)
Well, OK, north-east.

Although I got beaten to the punch I was most pleased by my Byng Place tag as it mirrored what I hope for this game. I had no idea of where it was, and a cursory google had not enlightened, but because it was a good day and I was looking at where I was, not just where I was going, I saw it in passing.
I did the 2 tags in one day so I'm as guilty as anyone of over enthusiasm but that's not a bad thing at this stage. It will develop in its own way as enthusiasm shifts but I am hopeful that it will endure in some form as it is fundamentally a good idea.
Oh and yeah, not a fucking clue where that is but it looks like it should be guarded by Daleks.
2 possibilities spring to mind, one of which is on my way home. Only I'm not going home tonight so will miss out on this pleasant location.
