  • That was quick, I only managed to make a coffee!
Know both, going that way, will try :)

  • Old, just outside Liverpool Street Station Entrance:

New, in the heart of Russia:

  • Well done fade.
For those who are interested/didn't know/haven't googled, Ragged Schools were free schools providing basic education for the destitute in the C19th. Wealthy philanthropists like Angela Burdett-Coutts gave much needed support, as did Charles Dickens.

This one was the largest in London and was set up by Dr Thomas Barnardo

  • I like the speed today! My gf & I were just about to head for the Ragged school when i double checked and saw Fade had got there first. Luckily I recognised the sculpture and could still have a purpose for the ride! Also went to LMNH for the first time. Good cakes.

  • Yeah, it didn't take me long to figure out that the ragged schools museum was only about a mile away from where I live, so I thought I'd make a dash for it before someone else beat me to it! Nice to finally get my first tag in.

  • Well done fade.

  • lovely new tag

  • I made a picture with a bit better, "slightly" more revealing view. Will post if comes to it.

  • Nah, challenge is good.

  • I've not been to the new tag but it's googlable from the clue if you know the correct random historical fact... I am definitely going to visit this at some point as it looks ace.

  • it is amazing, go sometime and look around in same area, just amazing.

  • Challenge is good, I agree. I don't know about what others thought, but the Olde one was certainly difficult to find! ;) I left the tower in mine hoping to get the momentum going over the weekend, but I don't think you need to reveal any more for this one Dr P!
Oh, thanks for fixing the Dr/Mr - school boy error.

  • I'm continually impressed by how much stuff some of you know about London!

  • Old: Stave Hill eco park, panoramic views, really lovely.

if you go tag it and one coupon is gone, you'll check the thread and hammer it home :)

  • That's great! No idea where it is though.

  • Well done, you found this great spot.

Stave Hill is an artificial hill that was created in what used to be Russia Dock:

You say that, and yet I see not much progression. Diddley, in fact.
