  • ^ I thought they were the same towerblocks!

  • 15 Storeys High is ace stuffs.

  • Did I break bicycle tag of bike?

  • if i make unexpectedly good progress with work today, i'll go later

  • Old: Kingswood House, also known as Bovril Castle because the inventor of Bovril used to live there. The owner of Seamus (pictured) said it was his castle, this may not be true...

    New:

  • Well done for braving the rain. Clue on the new one? I have no idea.

  • The rain was the least of my problems to be honest. Getting that lump up Anerley Hill was more of an issue. It's ok though because according to Scoble that is my highest performance bike...

I can't think of a clue right now. Give me a while.

  • Clue: I don't know if Wolsey and Margaret ever met. They may have done, but they definitely do here.

  • Old: St John St Waitrose/Tesco viewed from Aylesbury St

    New: It's not Blackpool

    What?

    Almost a year later...

    Finally made it!

  • Closure!

  • A brave attempt but I think yours is 3 inches to the left of where mine was. Go back and do it again.

  • Haha, ok, maybe next year...

  • Where's the new international bike tag of bike? There I was expecting a shot of a tram shed in Dusseldorf...

  • See, clearly taken from a different spot.

  • ^ Awaits imminent epileptic fit

  • Where's the new international bike tag of bike? There I was expecting a shot of a tram shed in Dusseldorf...

I've been giving it some thought actually! I only have calais though, and I feel like it should be another capital city, or another country at least.

I should be able to tag a pretty far flung place in a couple of months, but it does leave a window of opportunity for someone to beat me to it!

  • Old: Corner Mildmay Road and Wolsey Road, near Newington Green

    New!

  • Hurrah! Well done DC13. It's meant to be a trompe-l'oeil (appear 3D/real, in other words). I'm not sure that's true but I've always liked it anyway. According to the info on the site below it dates back to 1981, although they don't have much other info on it:
    http://londonmuralpreservationsociety.com/murals/wolsey-road-mural/

I agree with their assessment that it's quite surreal and curious. I'm quite surprised in a way it has survived that long without someone tagging it (and I mean paint tag, not bike tag).

  • Old - corner of Holloway Road and Sandridge Street, facing Giesbach Road.

    New:

Clue: here you might learn about war and peace, by the sound of it.

  • Ooh - nice tag! Don't get the War and Peace link though ...

  • Do we have to read War and Peace to get the clue? Not sure I have the time for that.

Fortunately I know this one from the award it won.

  • on my marks, get set, go(ing in 5 minutes)

  • old Evelyn Grace academy, shakespeare road, with the running track right between the buildings.
i recognised this from walking past it recently on the way to HH and thinking it would make a good tag.
didn't get the war and peace clue but there are lots of roads around there named after authors so one might be tolstoy?

    new: john maynard keyes

the photo hardly does justice the area. i took another better one and then my phone froze completely and it turns out it didn't save

  • ^easy challenge: get a better photo at my tag!

you probably can't make them out but there were kids running on the track at the time. the little bits of green are PE bibs

  • Clue: here you might learn about war and peace, by the sound of it.

actually... war and peace by the sound of it. evelyn grace sounds like evil and grace, sort of equals: war and peace?
