Well, from looking at the site there are 12 zones; maybe split them between willing participants who can find the eggs in that zone, then we could get spread sheeting with the locations and share the quotes so that we can all enter the competition and do a mega tag event once we know where they all are.

I think that you need to send an sms or something once you find each egg ... so I figure that they will only accept entries from a single phone ...
I'm happy to offer the services of being LFGSSBTOBCE* ... to do the honours re: the official game, on everyone's behalf. (Any winnings to be split evenly between those who take part, one tag or loads).
*london fixed gear and single speed bicycle tag of bike communicator extraordinaire
And I'll make spoke cards for all participants to boot!!

Its a draw so you have to text them the quote from each egg and this counts as one entry into the draw, therefore you can enter the draw 209 times from each phone.
-
• #6330
Ah, so you've as much chance with spotting one egg and entering, as spotting 200 eggs. I thought you might need to find them all to win.
-
• #6331
Sorry I was always shit at statistics but I would imagine if you entered it 200 times you would have a better chance of winning than if you entered it once. However if lots of people entered then the advantage you gained would be less.

ok ... I'm tired. statistics schmatistics. Point was, I thought that to win the egg, you had to find all the eggs.

Egg spoke cards are scrambled then.

No, but that doesn't mean that it would not be fun.

Shall I shall start a new thread ... BTOB Egg hunt ... ? And do spoke cards 'n' all?
Run a Tag Game in parallel for a month and go tag all the eggs - they're only around for a month or so aren't they? I'll keep tabs on which ones have been done / need to be done with the OP.

Bah ... it's already done - https://www.lfgss.com/thread80558.html#post2713713
Scrambled again.

Good bump Bobbo
Nice weather for tagging -

If you really want to play you could always go through photos of every vet surgery inside the nth/sth circular I mean how many can there be? ;) Seriously, keep plugging away and you'll get one.

• #6341
Believe me, I've tried a fair few!

Time for a give-away,non-cryptic clue?
The tag location is a building associated to the neighouring educational establishment. They are both on a street which takes its name from that place of learning. It sounds like the place where Kate and Wills would take 'Lupo' if it got crook.

Cheers dropout! Will get it tonight, assuming no one beats me to it. Can't see animals on street view so guessing they are new additions.
For the record I thought it was Paws by the Green vets surgery and have not only looked at it a large number of times on street view but have also had one or two investigative ride bys as I was so convinced it was that and that I had missed something!
-
• #6344
Ah yes, the animal magic does seem to be missing from street view, assuming I haven't got the clues horribly wrong. This is just about sort of on my way to work tomorrow, we'll see if I remember.

Old:
Animal hospital, Royal Vetinary College.
New:
In a similar vein, this royal college is more human

Well done Bobbo. Royal College Street also has perhaps the longest segregated twin-way cycle path in central London.
And the animals are not on Streetview which was a deciding factor in choosing it.

Cheers, trying to work out photobucket hence the many attempts to re-size, sorry for crappy camera-phone pics. I tried to keep this straight forward in the hope of a busy tagging weekend.

The new one has now disappeared on my screen; been having a lot of blank posts on here today, all missing images I think.

And now it is back.
maybe plot them all on a map, find the shortest route between them, divide the steps between any participants, tag them all, head to the pub.
It'll be London's premier speed-tagging event of the decade!
