  • did you get to the Raven on time?
we realised that it was hardly likely to be open if we saw in 2012 in the Flask and then headed West.

  • No I got sidetracked.

  • Former house of William Johnson Cory, Pilgrim's Lane, Hampstead. Cory was assistant master at Eton College and composer of the words to the Eton Boating Song - hence the figurehead, presumably.

The plaque, funded by the Hampstead Plaque Fund, says he was a teacher, scholar and poet but thoughtfully omits his pederasty - his resignation from Eton in 1872 was not optional...

Nice tag habbi, and a lovely morning for a pootle. The other half was even keen to join in!

  • good work Pete and +1

bobbo - you in the doghouse then or did your missus have a change of plans?

  • Nice tag habbi. Wondered where this was. Good job I didn't ride to harrow where I thought it was. Nice one for getting it Pete. I'm going to get yours:)

  • Old: Clock tower, caledonia market

New: get your bearings for this one

  • The clock tower was part of the cattle market, established since smithfield market struggled to cope with live animals and is now a little park.

  • loving the speediness of tags on this lovely bank holiday! Wish i knew where that new one was and i'd pop out!

I lived round there for a couple of years and never knew that, always wondered why there was an eerie clocktower in the middle of nowehere. The road name makes a bit more sense now as well.

No idea about the new one, mind.

  • oh snap I actually know that tag! its a good one. right by my friends house. miles from my house though!

  • Damn thats some crazy fast tagging there. I get a tag i know, just near my house, and by the time i come back to upload its gone.

    Top tagging skydancer.

Nothing like that really, hopefully got a slice of good news, can't really talk about it too much until I know for sure.

    /intentionallyvague

  • I'm finding it surprisingly difficult to 'google' this one.

And three days since the last updated? Wha gwaan?!

  • Has London blown away?

  • Ill pop on up and get this one outta the way in a bit if its going to take so long.,

  • New clue needed!

I've tried looking for Compass Road, Bering Street and Sealed Hub Alley, all to no avail

  • Ooh! I'm going there tomorrow morning!

  • Old

Not 30 seconds from the old tag, some brightly painted garages located just of Caledonian road

    New

  • love it^ although that vest jacket is borderline reflectoporn

  • Not 30 seconds from the old tag

doh! Passed fox +1 (yellow jacket, no?) speeding down Willow Road just after they must have done theirs, and then got to the tower just as skydancer posted his.

...and it was only 30 seconds away... grr ;)

    like the birdcage

  • I tried fitting them into the same image, but theres not much you can do with a phone camera without a flash in the dark

  • love it^ although that vest jacket is borderline reflectoporn

They were there taking pictures when i got there, and beat me in a waiting game to see would leave first.
    35 mins later they won..

  • the bastards

  • ok, this time I am taking my memory card with me.

  • Might nab this later if it's not gone. It's been too long!
