If you know the run of shops where it is the Sylvanian Families reference is pretty well known. I imagine a pretty brief search on that topic would throw up the locale / specific location pretty quickly...

As an aside when my daughter (who Skűlly met outside The Toucan on Carlisle st) was about 5 she was thinking about Sylvanian Families…..
“So all the other types of animals wear clothes except the horses and the horses have to carry the other animals around. The horses are slaves!”
Just think on that when you buy your children slave owner rabbit toys.

I had no idea they actually have a shop for that stuff, and THERE of all places.
Glad to see that guy’s still got that shop. I thought it was his, but it’s been about 15years since I went

Answer to the first bit was a not very nice man, but very rich, writing a tune and lyrics about materialism while in his mansion on a Steinway piano.
Also the buildings to the left are AI altered in the photo ;) do you see that the blandness of modern structures.

Forget 531, we're talking 524 here

Nope.
Apart from looking like almost all new developments around Stratford these days there's not much in the picture to go on. -

Algha Works 1932 -2020, Fish Island. Eye wear manufacturer of choice for many a musician and film star, and the iconic ubiquitous NHS glasses of the 60-70s.

Daniel Radcliffe had over 100 frames made here for him in his role as Harry Potter.
There's a lovely film of Algha Works here, including the claim that they made a precursor to Ray-Ban aviator glasses in 1934.

My ex had her leather catsuit made for her by someone just around the corner from the current tag - but that's a topic probably best left for a different thread.
I note with interest that Alison Lloyd has one of her shops just over the road from the tag. -

On the subject of spectacle frames, were you aware that nearly all of the designer frames you can avail yourself of these days, are in the hands of one Italian company - my Austrian Silhouette frames being one of the few exceptions. (probably eligible for 'overheard in the golf club' thread)
Interesting - what you've linked to about Algha. -
