It's not quite finished on Streetview.

Judging from this and your last tag we must have unknowingly crossed paths at some point.

• #28258
I have no idea about this one.

The less there is in the picture to go on the more a clue or clues are needed. Google lens has made a lot of stuff easy to find too but today.

• #28260
If I called it a future gateline rather than gates would that help? Industry jargon…
-
• #28261
That's more helpful, yes! It's on Street view

Hasn't this area featured in the bike muggings thread quite a bit recently?
-
• #28263
This bit is ok, I wouldn’t go north/west of here though as there’s no natural surveillance until you’re west of Rotherhithe New Road

That mooring pillar thing with a face on Surrey Canal Road got tagged by me about 10 years ago.
I always wondered about that void in the latest Surry Canal Road offering.

Some more information about the proposed station on the Surrey Canal Road. I believe the bridge was built with a station in mind originally so that's why it's pretty significant and has unused empty spaces under each side.
-
• #28268
It was built with a station in mind, but things have changed since it began with the addition of lifts and a gateline… oh, and the trains have an extra carriage.
They also changed the name (again) to Surrey Canal which I find hugely unhelpful as the canal neither exists or is a specific location. Surrey Canal Road gave a much tighter definition.

Another Clue: The firm that formally occupied the site survived Under Eight Monarchs.

• #28270
I did a search on the thread for SCR and didn’t find it, sorry. Did it have a face back then?!
-
• #28271
It may not have done, so it’s a new tag!
It’s fine. There’ve been all sorts of retags. Good to know there are other taggers local ;)

Didn't get it from the clues but it is image searchable.

NEW: continue the name theme? What a capital idea. It's the big building you are looking for. And in everyone's favourite bank holiday weekend cycling area.
