  • Should move the game along nicely....

  • I'll be going past the new one today but will wait till this evening to post it if anyone else wants to stop this becoming the oat and will show.

  • Will & Oats
    The tag-eaters

  • OLD: Seething Lane, site of the memorial to the unknown podiatrist.

  • NEW: if you think you need a clue for this just ask, don't get ornery or go mental.

  • I wish I could be back on my bike again. I'd have that.

  • I never realised until Will tagged it that Torrens Street was the old entrance to Angel Tube. It got dangerously overcrowded especially when 2 trains arrived at the same time, so a new section of tunnel had to be dug to separate the platforms, along with the current entrance on the high street (1992)

And that is what happened at Seething Lane. It used to be the nearest station to Tower of London and was called Mark Lane station, the lettering of which is just visible in my pic. It got too crowded and a new station had to be built where the current Tower Hill station is.

You can also still see the stairs down to the platform round the corner of the same building on Byward St (as you cycle along CS3) - I was going to do that one, but spared you.

These lovely folk have gone inside to have a look for you

  • Cobblers

well, yes, it was a little more complicated. It was also called Tower Hill Station at some point too.

  • How would one describe that sculpture? Stylised rabbit dropping? Grey patterned blu tac? Melted butt plug?

  • Where is the old please?

  • The ornamental canal in Wapping/Shadwell.

  • Sorry, the old one was in Wapping, I’ve added a link & more words

  • Where's the clue for the new one?

  • Despite the name, it’s not schist or jasper—rather, granite—so not functional for testing your gold. And there are two of them to boot. Picture clue: ⬭

    The Word Is Not Enough?

  • Sorry for my brevity earlier—it was raining and my phone doesn’t work very well in the rain. I’ve edited and hopefully improved matters.

  • It was a question to Will too :)

  • I was wondering what Will's tag was. It appears in the opening sequence of The World is Not Enough Bond film, strangely enough.

  • Ornery, mental.

Am I the only one who can't see a picture clue or is that tiny **** the picture?
EDIT: yes it is and I'm giving too much away.

  • Yes. Update—another picture clue: ▲
