My mate Viktor was a fireman stationed in Kings Road, Chelsea at the ^ time. He helped put out the fire that was started.

NEW: more crime and violence. These characters haven't cropped up here for about three yrs but with a bit of guesswork you'll have it in the hat.

I got the Iranian one by Googling the number plate. The other number plate EE I thought was Estonia? Maybe Dibble has inadvertently uncovered a Baltic-Islamist conspiracy.

I did the same with the number plate. The first three numbers are the give-away.
Good clueage with your most recent one, it really takes the biscuit. -

Ethiopian embassy.

Old: 97 Evering Road, where the Krays murdered Jack the Hat McVitie, the case that led to their downfall.
New: Continuing the theme of gratuitous violence with this Bloody chap's Approach to heretics. One for Mulberry tree fans too this one.

The mulberry tree in question is a true veteran and has attracted quite a lot of attention in the last couple of years. The developer isn't a fan though.

Might get it on Friday if it's not gone before.

More on the Mulberry tree the developer doesn't like. Apparently saved from the chop earlier this year.

More clues might be needed for the new one for those of us that don't recognise it.

The violence part to my tag was related to Bishop Bonner, or 'Bloody Bonner', who persecuted Protestant heretics in Mary's reign in a particularly unpleasant way, killing over 100 (some say close to 300). The story goes that he sat under that mulberry tree while he plotted. Not sure if the age of the tree can vouch for that, but anyway. For quite a time maps refer to this place as Bonner's Hall before its grounds effectively became part of Victoria Park in the mid 1840s and the house torn down. The Chest Hospital was then built on the site. Interestingly the nearby gates and bridge to Victoria Park (that many of us I'm sure have gone through/over) also take Bonner's name.

@WillMelling
The new tag has a link to the tag before last. -
• #26593
EDIT: ah yes, I see it now. I had another linked tag in mind, maybe tomorrow.

I'm really surprised we don't seem to have had the latest one yet.

Same. Wrong side of town for me today, which is a shame because I was gasping.

But late but sad to see the conflict in Ethiopia getting worse, been a year since I tagged Cannizaro Park.
I was going to put a little video explainer in the news thread but I dump it [here]www.youtube.com/watch?v=z0cYHw-joZI) instead.
Also wanted to say I fucking love dried mulberries.

• #26598
I was worried it might be a retag, but it's not on any of the maps.
-
• #26599
The maps are not a reliable guide. Oliver is right about including street names when the tag is found so you can search the thread. The other failsafe is to make a back-up tag or two.
-
• #26600
Yes, and it doesn't come up in a thread search, either. I don't think it's been done, but it's just one of those obvious locations where you think that it must have been done.
Nice verbing.
(I guessed it straight away but then I'm old enough to remember it happening.)
