I was gonna say - maybe even by me :)
Didn't remember all the door discussion that followed, aha.

Thanks. Thought it might have been but didn’t find it in a search…

For some reason image search of that picture brings up Michael Faraday's signature. I'm not getting anywhere with this.

I don’t recognise the doorway, but it looks very purposeful. Is the thing on the left a drop safe letterbox? Weird to have the bog standard bricks around the fancy stonework, and a rather incongruous light and lock. The back entrance to somewhere? I have no idea. The Coke-drinking rat did not help.

Back entrance is a good call... something MI6ish about it.
"I once saw a rat drinking from a can of coke there" -

Film and TV locations are normally pretty easy to find but, despite a long Twitter thread dedicated to this programme's locations, I'm still looking.
EDIT, got it. -

Haven’t watched any of that series, but found the spot thanks to the quote.

It looks a lot nicer in the pic above than on streetview...

Screwed up with the post so you early birds had it easy.
as @WillMelling has provided the clue, this has also featured in a large number of TV shows. -

The you need to give a good clue because there's nothing else to go on.
And there was I thinking you were making it easy. -

What sorcery is taking place here?
Now you see it.
Now you don't. -

It wasn't meant as a clue. If we are crowdsourcing them we can do better. Even after I found it I had no idea what the significance of it was.

Regimental jumper likes to gamble on these, say, despite trying to run before they can do this in perpetuity. (8,4)

Warwick House Street, London (MI6 Investigation Office)
You won't be able to see the inside of Carolyn Martens's off-the-books MI6 headquarters where Eve, Kenny, Bill, and Elena (pictured) hunt down Villanelle—but you can catch a glimpse of the exterior near Trafalgar Square. A few steps down Warwick House Street (it's more of an alley), you'll find the entrance at the second door on your right, recognizable by the circular window above the door. -
