  • Now I know how they felt after Entebbe.

  • I hope someone has more luck than me at bringing the tag more central this week.

  • Dizzying heights this one.

  • Old Gallion's Reach Park, Thamesmead

New: nice smelling blossom for softies

  • Mmmkay, yeah, that looks very central. :)

  • It's all relative I guess. Follow your nose there

  • Well, it doesn't look easy.

  • Forecast is for rain (finally!) tomorrow pm, so I might pop out in the morning…

  • The blossom disguises the occasional less pleasant aroma wafting around, one most of you have contributed to I dare say. Except Bruce that is, definitely not him.

  • Wind was so strong I felt like I wasn't the only one taking off

  • That bike looks like a right laugh around town. 'Kerbs...? what kerbs?'

  • Mine was Greenway Orchard, Plaistow. Not much to say about it other than it's nice to see it along the Greenway.
One bit of trivia that links back to an old tag is that apparently when Gandhi was staying up in Bow, he'd take early morning walks down to Plaistow along 'sewerbank' as it was known then. He was also a West Ham fan apparently and was rumoured to have gone to the Boleyn Tavern just up the road from here.

  • OLD: Royal Docks pumping station

  • It's not on street view, it's probably a bit of a tough one. On the upside, the traffic is low and the rhodes are quite safe, even for cats. A nice area for a father and son.

  • For the clue-obsessed the 'arena' mural I tagged a few days back in Deptford picked up by @Rahario was also the site of the Broadway Theatre, long demolished, and the cellars under there were discovered to be used as a massive cannabis farm recently.

Props to anyone out cycling today, the gusts were frightening on my little morning amble.

  • I had a wonderful tailwind all the way there, not so much on the way back.

  • I saw that Cats Crossing sign (or another in London somewhere) on a cycle over the weekend and had a double take to check I'd read it correctly.

  • I think I know where this ^^^ is, but the clues have thrown me. I'll see if I'm correct on my commute back this evening, unless someone gets it and posts in the mean time.

  • Use the force @AWu-Tang , trust your instincts and don't let the clues throw you. Maybe check the place you think it is is also not on streetview?

  • Well the sign certainly isn't.
But it was north London, quiet, had the sign, and had the same road markings.

I will only know for certain when I detour past this evening.

  • I've still not managed to get a single tag, most of the time I do not have a clue, or people get there before me. I don't really race out to get them either.

I do enjoy seeing the bits of London people find, and interesting bits people know of the history.
