Bicycle Tag of bike

Wow, I used to cycle past the new tag every day on the way to work (and often I cycled home across the marshes through Walthamstow) but I never knew of this story. Great tag!

I also assumed it might refer to more recent outrages which were unlikely to have plaques on such a building.

Old: Chesnut Road N17; a plaque commemorating Police Constable William Tyler, who was shot and killed during the Tottenham Outrage:

The Tottenham Outrage of 23 January 1909 was an armed robbery in Tottenham, North London, that resulted in a two-hour chase between the police and armed criminals over a distance of 10km, with an estimated 400 rounds of ammunition fired by the thieves. The robbery, of workers' wages from the Schnurmann rubber factory, was carried out by Paul Helfeld and Jacob Lepidus, Jewish Latvian immigrants. Of the twenty-three casualties, two were fatal and several others serious, among them seven policemen. The two thieves [took their own lives] at the end of the pursuit.

I'm a bad person. I know people died but parts of the story are hilarious...

The image of 40 police commandeering a tram and making it go backwards to chase another tram is probably my highlight

They didn’t find all of the money which means whilst some were public spiritly throwing potatoes others were picking up the spilt cash.

What a story

“Dust destructor” caught my eye on that map… there is some more fun info here including

[…] the Latvians failed to notice the factory was next door to Tottenham Police Station, with its section house for single officers and its married quarters for married men.
Upon hearing the shots, the officers, who had been working late into the night and were just getting up, ran out of the doors and jumped out of the windows and gave chase.
People used to seeing policemen in pressed uniforms and polished boots would have been taken aback to see so many policemen dressed in pyjamas and underwear, covered in either shaving foam or shampoo running down the road.
In those days the man in charge, the superintendent didn’t have a car; he had a go-kart pulled by a dog. The inspector had a horse and the other policemen were on foot or riding pedal cycles.
The policemen were unable to find the keys to the gun cupboard so many policemen were issued with cutlasses - the last time in history that this happened.

I though that I'd got the wrong church, until I realised that someone had been round with pot of British Racing Green paint since the time that the streetview car had been round.

Is this new one supposedly so easy it doesn't need a clue?

I'm sure you've already found it and are only saying it for the benefit of others, but there have already been quite a few clues. Anyone who didn't realise that it's closely related to the previous tag may not have picked up on them, though.
