Old: Ruskin Park house, Denmark Hill
Don't know the clues, used to frequent the Fox on The Hill!

That's still not the right place.
I think it's a 10 mile bike ride from there to the actual tag.

that would have made a great thematic follow up though...

Amazingly similar for the wrong answer.

Posting it twice is a bold strategy but it's still the wrong side of London. Near Settle's previous tag, as I mentioned. Ruskin Park is similar but has nowhere near the same caché. No one made the subject of a modern opera ever lived there.

Someone tag the building again, and keep tagging the same building from different angles.

Bicycle tag in San Francisco poses some unique challenges but I don't suppose this is what foxed Beagle.
Absolutely not a clue, BTW.

We had that moving barge which didn't seem a problem

Old:
Oh, hang on, wrong picture.

Poor squirrel

The current tag appeared in my Twitter feed in the same day as the tagging. Might have been more appropriate if it had appeared in my dreams, and then we could all discuss what it meant.

I'm assuming by now it's not a lack of clues and we are just waiting for someone to have the time and inclination to get it? I blame the weather.
-
• #24590
Yeah, I know it and am reasonably close but can’t get there any time soon.
-
• #24591
Too far for me, sorry

• #24592
Denmark Hill is round the corner from you.

• #24593
I do to, have an excellent next tag that is similar architecture and nearby. The building had all the beautiful curved crittall windows replaced with curved UPVC windows.

Old: Belvedere Court, between Highgate and the North Circular. Great tag.
Where Jerry Springer lived until he was 5. I didn't realise that Jerry Springer: The Opera musical was British and never made it to Broadway. Interesting video of Jerry Springer visiting Belvedere Ct:

New: This one made it...

Belvedere Court was designed by Ernst Freud and mostly let to Jewish refugees from Nazi Germany, hence the clues.

Is it the building with the arched windows we are looking for? It looks so familiar, I'm going to be kicking myself.
-
• #24597
It's actually the one on the right which is the tag, but I included the arched one for reference
-
• #24598
Trickier than it looks. Not much to go on.

The opera was written by Stuart Lee.

Can I just check the rules, do you have to photograph the old then ride to the new or can I photo the new one on the way up to the old?
That's not the right place.
