this is the first one I recognise on sight. cba today though. I would recommend having a go on the slide if anyone does venture out.

My clue was about something fairly obscure http://www.303rdbg.com/pp-rainbowcorner.html
but I thought people might just figure out the location from sight. -
• #24257
Indeed. Figured from sight.

The interior is incredible: https://www.flickr.com/photos/hjuk/albums/72157608080826218/with/2559157572/

Thanks, there's really no need to @reply me in this thread, I won't miss it.
The new one seems to be a skate park, any chance of a clue rather than just street viewing them all? -
• #24260
Central, but not quite what you think
-
• #24261
my previous comment isn't actually an encouragement to slide
-
• #24262
^^Did you know it already or did you work it out?
-
• #24263
Worked it out from stephens' comment. But failed to spot the hidden clue in there too

Surely that Biblical mock-up stuff can't be original?

It seems it is, or at least pre-church. The listing is at https://historicengland.org.uk/listing/the-list/list-entry/1297977 and there are pre-refurb photos (1986 I think) at https://www.flickr.com/photos/oldcinemaphotos/sets/72157603916694241/
From the listing:
The interior is a Hispano-Moresque fantasy
...
Above the proscenium arch and the canted bays and running back for the first four tiers of the gallery, is a detailed and romantic stage-set of a Spanish town; this extends along the side walls of the gallery in the form of a steeply raked arcade of barley-sugar columns and stepped parapet carrying urns, vases and exceedingly naturalistic foliage; -

Thanks!
I bet the church finds it really suitable.

Wow! Used to live round the corner and also cycled past it for 6 years in my last job - never knew the interior looked that that!

If it's BMX I am still no closer.

• #24269
hidden clue in there too
Zoom ... Enhance .. nope

cba? slide? I've got nothing. If you invert the pic and convert to greyscale you can see the profile of Judith Chalmers in the graffiti but that doesn't help either.

I parsed your post but didn't latch on to the venture part.

Oddly though I've street viewed that location in the past when it's been other skate parks.

New: a fair few Italians called this place home at some point in the 40’s. There’s also a skateboarding POWerslide connection/pun that I can’t be arsed to think of.

Old: Site of an old Italian Prisoner or War camp, by the Round cafe, Peckham Rye Common. Interestingly the last remaining hut of it was still there when streetview visited.
New: from uber to under. Only visible at really low tide.
