Dear OLC, neither the sculptor, nor the 'street' name nor the buildings around tie in with the crypticonite.
I fail your clues.

It's not impossible from the clues / photo, it's a just really really long way away...
If it's still up after work I'll have a go - [not sure if you guys like my clues though, so get in there quick...] -

I was going to go get this one early this morning, and take it to a very similar statue somewhere else.
But instead I stayed in bed.
True story.
i thought it was that one to begin with, almost made the trek from hammersmith, luckily the rain, and further reading saved me.

36x18, you're thinking it's on that A road. which it kind of is on the map. but if you're looking at it on streetview, zoom in on the streetsign behind the statue, it has the name of the sideroad

what i mean is you're looking at the wrong street name.
and if the first clue "stand back or you'll get splashed" doesn't make any sense then you're not even thinking of the right place!

the clues work for me

I fail completely; I was thinking it was the 'other sex' version by the same artist. I get it now...
Your top tube censorship fooled me. -

I know where this is but am too lazy to go out in the potential rain right now to snap it. If skies are clear in the morn however... I might just get my first tag.
-
• #2388
im quite close to it right now but the prospect of rain puts me off
-
• #2389
Ha.
Can some one pm me if the map updating is easy with how you do it? I've felt bad about leaving it to others to sort out cos I'm scared of it.
Hasn't the rain stopped over there?
