Obscure clue ...
(2 clues for the price of one)

It's apparently a 7 mile detour there and back again for a NW Londoner like me. Is anyone going to get it tonight?
-
• #18331
7 mile detour?
That's the spirit!
South East London welcomes you! -

I really want to get it but have no time to go riding. Friday morning a possibility if I can summon the energy to do a baby carrier tag...
-
• #18333
Oh and seven miles, that's nothing to get a tag. My furthest was Herne Hill up to Mill Hill and back. I'm sure others have gone further?

I went from SE23 to UB2 for a canal bridge, only to find it had been nabbed by Skydancer as I slogged across London (in the sunshine). That was over 40 miles for the round trip. But someone went to Paris, n'est-ce pas?

Old:
I'm not going to say where the old one was as I fear the new one must have been done before. But it's not on the map and I can't find it in searches. But it's dead easy
New:

Oh, I like the new one. Likewise I have a haunting suspicion it has been done before but I can't be dead sure.

• #18337
There's a map?

I sense more than one clue in your post, Ludd.
At least three, in fact. And MON's post appears to corroborate this....
I sense a journey from there would have led you to Surrey.
I'm bu§§ered if I can remember where it is though.
Perhaps I should give BToB a bit of a rest.
My last effort appears to have rung something of a death knell for the game. -

Old: London Necropolis railway station on Westminster Bridge Road
New: Pond gone :(

Now that's done, the tag old tag that @JurekB did was the old Gandolfi Brother Camera workshop on Boreland Rd.

Can't see any photos. Have they been removed?
-
• #18344
Stupid Google Photos links worked on Wednesday, including when not logged in, but don't now for some reason. Moved 'em to Flickr so should be working now.
-
• #18345
Yep I can see the lack of pond...
-
• #18347
It came as no surprise for me to read that you enjoyed that, Skülly :)
-
• #18348
It had been done.

It was made Of Soil and Water and great while it lasted but that wasn't even the advertised two years.
I believe the father of the furniture making royal was a client of the firm which manufactured at these premises.
