Oops. :)

It seems I'm out of practice.
It says WALDEGRAVE, not Waldgrave.

Nice to see the Hackney lot so excited about a bike facility that we have had in Lambeth for a couple of years.
Bless.

...tempted...
Must give others a chance to play though ;)
Surely a pre-tag there not playing now are they? -

Last night.

• #16386
Hasn't that been tagged before? Possibly even by you, Will?
-
• #16387
I'm sure I've seen this tagged before
-
• #16388
I have no memory of it. The other place has been done by me.

Old: Mitchison Baxtor Park, Dalston/Essex Road
From one Mitch to another...
Albert Square?

Moar Cluez?
I fancy getting out the house. -

Oat has pretty much told you where it is. Or at least he's come as close to telling you where it is as he can, without telling you where it is.

This doppelgänger of a square should be recognisable to millions, and some would say that in its current state it is a zeitgeist of changing London. Why all the German words? Go back to the first tag, it should become clear.

Ah, got it. Need to work out a route that avoids marathon. May be difficult given I'm on the wrong side of the river.
-
• #16394
Rotherhithe Tunnel is closed to traffic today, but not on the marathon route, so if you're cheeky you might be able to get a traffic free ride through it?

Old - Fassett Square - the original model for EastEnders' Albert Square
New: Further south, or further north?
-
• #16396
Fassett with two 't's.
I thought of going for that today but it felt a bit like shooting fish in a barrel (not that I'd shoot any fish outside of barrels), and I always like to leave them if a new tagger shows interest. But fair game, of course.
I was actually surprised we hadn't had this yet. I tagged the German Hospital a while back (which oat44 refers to in his clues), but apparently not the square itself. I think at the time I thought it would be too obvious.

Oops, what's happened to the new picture?

My fault for editing it to show a new street name. Flickr must've renamed it.
Ha. Don't you lot have anything better to do with your sunny Sundays, like riding the London Classic? :)
Needless to say, Polka Dot is the one who actually bagged the 'previous' tag, but as he quite deliberately tagged the same thing as skydancer, they can both now be considered the authors of the current tag.
There's loads of these around Hackney; I think it was 26 before a new funding programme which is now going to add another 51. I tagged one of the first ones a while back, in Queensdown Road. You never know, they could become the new churches ...
