  • He's back!

  • Damn. I was just talking to that cat.

  • Wierdly, I've managed to find the wrong cat with a ruff. Presumably the wrong location too, unless they've changed the cat but kept the ruff ...

  • I think that is what they have done

  • Just to be clear, do we have to replicate that entire set up? Would just the cat do? Or just the cigarette machine? How happy are they to let people bring a bike inside?

  • Precedent from tag 649 on the map says the outside of the building is fine

  • Just to be clear, do we have to replicate that entire set up? Would just the cat do? Or just the cigarette machine? How happy are they to let people bring a bike inside?

I originally asked the landlady if I could take the cat outside for the photo with my bike, and she immediately said "Of course not!" She then suggested I bring the bike in if I wanted to.

If you get the outside of the establishment, that's fine. Bonus, if you get the cat in the window.

Oh, and er, those complimentary bar snacks, careful now. Don't eat the ones from the bowl marked 'meow'!

  • Or the other ones, since we all know bowls of peanuts on bars have twelve kinds of wee in, minimum.

  • How can so many people pee in the bar-snack bowls? Surely someone would notice and say something.

For the tag, my mum's got a similar table-cloth so I was just going to buy a ruff and a can of tuna and see if I could kidnap an ally cat.

  • Fake it 'til you make it

I know it well! Pity i'm 400 miles away.

  • Reckon I know it too. Will be there tomorrow night.

  • Dogging again mashton?

  • Cat on the bar

    nicely done.

This is indeed a replacement cat. The original, Tom Paine, died in 2011.
This one, Ray Brown, was found in Battersea Dogs and Cats Home and has its collection of ruffs dry cleaned regularly.
Apparently it's simply to impress those working in the nearby chambers. Nice ales and good old simple nosh served there.

  • Found this while searching.. The descriptions are weirdly amusing. MNSFW

  • Old: Do A Skid Hill Lane, where it turns into Hesiers Road

Skully, thanks for motivating me to get on the bike this glorious morning! I hadn't even had any breakfast, but I blasted down through suburbia and out among the larks, whitethroats, buzzards and goldfinches and am now so much happier as a result.

New: you may require no clue for this but I'd be grateful if anyone can shed any light on the purpose of the midstream wall.

Ravensbourne River as it crosses under Catford Station

Eagle - eyed students may spot some duckling action in the water.
Then again, if you're eagle - eyed, you'd probably consider said ducklings as a light starter.

    Another sort of railing...
    Decorative being its function...

  • Moar cluez

  • Tina Turner, David Bowie (amongst others) have performed / recorded a stone's throw away from the tag.
More recently, it was Damon Albarn.
But they were all on the other side of the tracks......
As was Lana Del Rey, last year.
    And Elton John....
    And Florence and the Machine.....
Any one of them could've stepped out of the venue and thrown a stone which could easily land at the tag - it had bloody well better not hit my bike!

I can see this getting into clues-by-proxy territory (Clues for the actual tag being a bit thin on the ground.....)

  • I'm guessing the Roundhouse. But I have no frickin idea who lana del fey is.

  • Oh god I just watched a youtube. How dull.

  • I thought it was the Red Lion but that's as far as it got...

  • And I've just worked out where this metal thingy is.

  • I know where this is, pretty close to you Skully I think
