No, I quite like railroads.
Oh, you mean that road.

New: They may go to Paris, Brussels and Lille, but where else do they go..?
This involves another Mill, but it's too far for me today. I would love to spot one of the local pink bicycles..

Temple Mills Marshalling Yard. Sadly, there were no Eurostars in sight. They were probably all busy being trains. Here's the entrance to the location:

Not wishing to derail the train theme, but part of the name of this sounds almost like rail. Just a hope, skip, and jump away from the old tag, and the funny things the colour contrast does to the rear wheel goes to show how little would usually be required to stage a happening picture.

Hmm...
At the risk of sounding like a trainspotter...
That's not the bit we tagged at all! There's no crash barrier, and the track nearest to the fence is electrified. I'm fairly sure the Eurostar power car we tagged is there all the time, probably as a [ame="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hot_spare"]hot spare[/ame].
It's an electric train so it needs to be shunted in and out of the siding given the lack of overhead power.
Are you sure it wasn't there? Can we allow it?!

Fox - why'd you give away the location?!
when this has happened before the tag just stays live. -

Location is in Oliver's third picture!
I've taken out the streetview link though.

yeah that's what I meant - he hadn't tagged the bit in your photo but you linked to it.
similar thing happened in Greenland Dock I seem to recall, there was a bit of a discussion about that.
resists temptation to go tagging -

I honestly don't know if it should be allowed or not, but Temple Mills is about a mile long so it's a big place. Don't have a strong opinion either way tbh.

I'm sure it wasn't there. Isn't the spot you tagged just to the left behind the sign in the picture? I have to admit that I didn't clock that when I tagged it--that I then took another picture slightly further north was mainly laziness, as I was already on the northbound side of the road. I wouldn't insist on getting the exact bit of fence right. As you say, it's very long.

StreetView seems to show the power car just where I tagged it, but of course it may have been somewhere else when you were there.

Nope! I don't think I can decide as I have a conflict of interest.

Oh well, let's see what others think. I couldn't compare this to the previous picture on site, as I don't have a portable computer.

Perhaps we just need to have a rule against tagging excessively long things. :)

So there is a full kilometre between where BQ and I tagged and Oliver tagged...

Here is a link describing the pink bikes I mentioned:

As far as I'm concerned the game goes on with Oliver's new tag. And since I'm jobless, my opinion counts most.

Cheers, whatok. I'm going past there tomorrow again, anyway, so I can also get another picture some way down the (rail)road. :)
Thanks all. Keeping an eye on BTOB from the 'far east', of Sicily that is, while keeping the other on Mt Etna erupting away in the distance. One of Oliver's least favourite roads this one if I remember rightly...
