And I just checked; the last 'Commit No Nuisance' sign is indeed different from the current one.

Googling Nippon & Korea Centre was my undoing no doubt.
The club was called The Brain, the place back then had loads of paintings on the walls inside by Mark Wigan ... http://thebrainclub.moonfruit.com/#/pictures-1/4533031164

Thank you Skully for leaving it very close from the previous one.
Mine is pretty googleable too, all I know it was put up same year as I born. -

On the subject of the map, which I always found really useful, a quick check before I headed out the door to make sure I didn't retag anything. Can we organise a way of people getting it up to date, rather than rely on one person to do it, which makes our lives easier but invariably means it will stop being updated as despite the best will in the world, life/work/family will get in the way.
I propose that we (lovers of the bike tag game) figure out where we are upto in terms of the map tags, organise a list of the unlisted tags, and take an arbitary number, 5 or 10 or some other number and each then update the map, bringing it up to date and back into useful working order.
Once it is up to date, those who grab a tag, take on the responsibility of updating the map with the tag they have found.
Is that doable? Would people commit to this, could it be added to the rules, and be one of the few that people have to adhere to?

Wait, there's a MAP?

Yes, there is a link in the first post.

As has been pointed out before, not everyone has a Google account.
We don't even need a map, we only need a list. And actually, reposts are so rare that they are hardly an issue at all. -

If people wrote the location of an old tag once a new one had been put up then there wouldn't be this problem.

^ this
The map is a valuable resource and we should endeavour to keep it updated, but if we were to consistently post locations or names of previous tags, a quick 'search this thread' is all that's needed to check before racing to get one.

I don't mind doing a bit of map tagging...
Any idea where we're up to?

^the next tag to be put on the map is wiganwill's at the bottom of p.197 http://www.lfgss.com/thread38155-197.html
I'm sure it will be much appreciated by all! -

I cycled past the Egg Stores a while ago, such a mad 50s frontage for a bizarrely named shop.
I say Skully's latest one is the new tag - mostly because I know where it is. First tag back wins?
