By the way, anybody else own a garage? Need to store mine roadster - it has broken roof and it's getting mouldy when I'm not driving it.

...I can drive it for you =D

It's nothing special, just one of the first Z3s and a left hand drive on top of that.
I wanted an MG Roadster - red with chrome, everything replaced for NOS parts, even found one nicely restore which was being sold by the garage which did the job, as the owner couldn't afford to pick it up. Unfortunately, I couldn't get the price I wanted for the 323 and made a straight swap at the dealer.
Big mistake.
You are welcome to take it for a spin when is warmer. I haven't been driving it for a year now. Only occasionally to keep the engine oiled. Roadster just don't do good family vehicles and if I have time to be on my own, then I prefer to cycle. It really needs to be garaged.

Sounds like a lovely car, you owe it to the car to take it down along some lovely B-roads in the South-East =P

The nicest ride so far was a modest B-roads detour from SE London, through Arundel, Shoreham Beach and after all the way on the sea front to Portsmouth, then Winchester and finally home. I was back at midnight :-)

I used to do some work in Arundel for Body Shop and I can vouch for those roads a drivers dream same as around Corfe Castle

Pity you didn't work for a body shop. It would solve my problems.

Everything, mate :-)
- I need to fit the new roof (got one, hydraulic)
- Need to fit new doors as I can't be bothered with ironing the dents (got a set of primed)
- New rear bumper (got one)
- New front bumper (got similar, but with holes for the washer jets where the lights are)
- Full respray in Boston Green
- I have to fit new steering wheel (got a nice Nardi one with the boss)
- Perhaps an alarm?
- Once the new bumper is in place - new fog lights (got a set)
- New dashboard and a center console - got few wooden bits
- Still need to find door inserts in beige Oregon leather.
It was already lowered, new tyres fitted, I change the front lights.
My house and the shed are full of car spares, bikes and parts, broken cameras... I need to reclaim the leaving space or expand to the neighbouring property.

Boston Green are you fucking mad?

I can't do it in Oxford Green. It would be shite.

Nothing wrong with a Boston green BMW.

I think it's the only colour which gives an owner an excuse to keep it and wait until they become rare. The silver ones, black, red are bit too modern and that car has nice timeless line.

So far the most important question has been evaded, Kris, have you tried to change your brake pads while driving? =P
Sweet motor!
