I was in Norfolk this weekend and found this amazing place. Not secondhand, not cheap but very good value for what they are. The Harris Tweed Fitzrovia looks superb, fantastic example of soft tailoring. They do mail order - in fact they mostly do mail order it seems:
Most of my clothes are from Old Town; excellent cycling clothes. Did you meet the shop keeper?

Did a recon of south london charity shops today, some bits and pieces in the shops in wimb including an awesome pringle shirt that was however XXL massive, some good ladies stuff 12-14 in oxfam tooting high road and some good shirts
there are a few good jackets in the Trinity hospice charity shop on Balham high road, including a fantastic green and blue triped boating jacket and a couple of tweed beauties, seemed to be 38-42 in size all around £10.
I picked up a Harris Tweed jacket for £9 there. -

Sadly not, they are closed on Mondays, which was the day we fetched up there. I spent a good while looking through the window, and looking at the web site on my iphone, whilst standing outside the door, to see what I was missing.

They were up in London showing the clothes last week!
The best clothes for cycling are, in my opinion, the Borough and Overall jackets and then the plain trousers and vauxhallls
In fit they are M & S sizes, ie a 38 M &S a jacket fits me as does a 38" Borough .
They also last.......
Where abouts are you? I can show you some of my wardrobe..
Otherwise , I d suggest a day out cycling in N Norfolk including a trip to Holt. You can get the train to Norwich and come back via Cromer. I ve been suggesting Gerald ( Coppi that) would be a great model for them!

There were some very cheap (£3!) Tweed jackets on sale in the CND shop on Holloway Rd yesterday. I got myself a nice (if a little small) grey number.
There were still four or five left after me. Most of them seemed to be quite big and slightly I wasn't too keen on the colours. But there was one nice one which had a large chest size (43ish?) but very short arms. So if you are oddly shaped you might get a bargain.

I have some green cordouroy plus fours (or twos). They're a bit cheap, but look ok (I ended up with two pairs through an ebay mixup, I'm wearing the other one, so they're not too bad!). I won't be able to post a picture till tomorrow so no worries is that's a bit late for you.
Pickup only in the City around Moorgate tomorrow or Friday lunchtime I'm afraid.
Very very tight 30" (I'm a 30" and can only just fit into them). Ten quid to cover the ebay cost.
