Now here's a proper frankenbike;

another one of my rat bikes. an old garbage picked hybrid, a big piece of electrical conduit for the boom, and the front end is from another garbage picked kids bike. even that sweet front wheel came out of the garbage, repacked the bearings and it was good as new.

never noticed how tight the tyre clearance is on that^^^

^ The Brooks bar tape bothers me here. I can understand things like the posh hubs having a place in this thread as they are functional, but 35 odd pound bar tape seems a bit silly here.

They're surprisingly comfortable when installed properly.

what's unforgivable is the brooks cork bar end which is pretty crap, you can tell he's not using the bike enough to lose the cork by accident.

He might have lost the left one though. ;)

It has a brooks and a basket, dose it count?

I've used tight copper wire wraps back in the early 90s with a drop of solder.

dose it actually make it stiffer? like noticeably
