Well it looks just to random to be a paint job and the alu looks etched/oxidized thats why I think it's nitro/remover..

Not trying to be a dick or something but to me it looks like the red on the frame is paint and the grey/ white is raw alu not the reversed . The splatter pattern is almost to perfect to be masked/paint..

I've done some patinating/splatter effect on metal and it looks a bit like it, i could be wrong though.. ;-)

Just got finished building this one - I have a smaller freewheel and a suntour superbe short cage derailleur for it. Still undecided about the pink cranks (they are old and not ugly unlike the new "fixie" anno cranks...)

edit: also got a black corduroy concor esk saddle for it

Good project, best to throw a front brake on there.

nice bike. i'd tidy the brakes up and throw a front on. Id swap for some reversed bar end levers.
