Looks good man, that a stripped flyte? Dope.
-
• #5931
Yep, had it since 1994 and wore completely through the leather/foam on the sides, so I stripped it. debating whether or not to polish it - it's eaten through a pair of carhardts and another pair of dickies in the past 12months and I don't ride much more than 20miles a day!

Wait till you see my Porteur Rack v2.0, it's been going through some pretty serious weight loss and redesign.
Reckon it's gonna work a lot better than the first -

Wondering how there isn't a spacer and yet not massive BB drop?
I think it's because that isn't really a 'normal' steamroller.
-
• #5938
I expect it was a large frame, and it's had a new longer head tube and the down tube moved.
-
• #5939
I like how it shares very little with a steamroller yet they've kept the surly on the TT
-
• #5940
its actually a pretty small bike i think? just the head tube screws with you
-
• #5941
Head tube and down tube have been messed with.

^ Do they still make primo walls? I remember running a wall with the bead cut off inside another one front and back on my bmx haha.
-
• #5949
I'll be pretty cut up inside if you can't still buy them. When ever i killed one of them it was always a bit of a mini accomplishment and i would know it had served well
great job with the colour matching, get some red bar ends for it!
