  • Now that's a rat, very nice

A classic rat, true, but with some very nice parts on it... goldtec hubs, izumi supertoughness ect

  • this is in convent garden and belongs to 'empties' on here i think. have seen it in the flesh locked in the same place, it aint no rat boy.

  • 99% sure i saw this being ridden in new cross/deptford high st yesterday around 3pm

  • What have I started!

Depending on the final price, I'm in for a maybe.

And I definitely wanna play with the geo!

  • I like the look of this one, another few inch of seat stay to make it a triple tri a, remove the seat cluster gusset and you have a winner (for me).

  • Its not a rat, beater or franken though. It's just a slightly weird looking handmade custom frame.

  • id class it as a beater for a rich person

we need more beaters here, not every beater has a chain whipped around it daily for years to show its used

after i said that, here is my new beater was a farely cheap build for a brand new Steamroller frame

  • I'm interested in your straps that mount on regular pedals. What are they?

  • Spotted this around a few times in the past few days. Today was the first time I've seen it locked!

Ratty feel to it (that chain especially!) but the frame is mint NJS and hubs are Dura-Ace. So odd.

  • in uterat

  • japan or not, locked is a big word here

  • Can't go wrong with a raw frame and a nice clean build

  • You can went it crumples under you because you didn't coat it with anything

  • Well you obviously protect a raw frame, unless your an idiot

  • Although saying that, i think that is only a real issue with very thin delicate tubing frames. If i had a something Gaspipe i'd probably happily run it raw although paint it once winter comes along.

  • this winters beater

  • what saddle is that?

  • Ignore this.

  • You've already posted that on this page?

  • why reverse wrap, you asking?
