^ What is the point in having a top tube protector when the rest of the bikes is so ratted though?!
Still makes sense if you're constantly locking it up though. Paint loss is one thing, dinging the frame from clattering your lock off the TT is a different matter.

hmmmm.... I'd say it's just styling.
The set up makes it look like a bmx, so I'd guess it's a nod to that, more than anything else.

A cruiser would probably have too low a seat to ride far and fat, soft tyres which would be slow.

I think the backwards fork is so the brake can be mounted behind it, I dont know the advantage of this but I see it on a lot of polo bikes...
