When i got it a few years ago it looked like this (photo 3) I wanted to just sand it all down and redo a white paintjob.
Turned out the og paint was underneath bit had already been sanded down so i just left it like that

I see! You did a good job getting the old paint to show again.

Yeh im not gonna lie i got quite a few hand cramps thanks to the clover shaped tubing and difficult joints.
But happy with it, if i had gone any further the paint would of fallen off, you can see in some parts the original paint started to "break" as i got through to it.
But someone had "prepared" the frame before that horrible thick paint job. -

Parts bin beater commuter. Rides really well considering how battered the wheels are.

Wish I had that growing, it was a an old bmx tube guard thing instead of that saddle and the smallest braze ons for those huge 70s lights.
We crashed. -

Just built this up as a pub bike/26" BMX klunker-thing.
The frame is quite nice with Tange Prestige tubing but not exactly in a pristine condition.

Raleigh Mountain Tour fixed beater. Rides kinda weird, but who cares. (Saddle slipped on that ride. Has since been adjusted)

$$$ bits on a POS frame is always a weird combo imo.

What’s the frame? Reminds me of this little Argos bike that I always thought was quite tidy looking
