Cool, a new band. They sound a bit like a greaser-styled version of Pixies.

I've never heard of them either, just listening to their albums: http://theyoungwerewolves.bandcamp.com

Mark's new beater. NJS certified and Ted-tigged chainstay repairs
-

Those repairs look rad. It is a beater for sure.
Although in my opinion it's not ok to take a very expensive frame and use it as a beater.. -

£175 for frame fork and headset is pretty cheap!
Then a bottle of gin for the repair...yeaaahhh -

What was the actual repair Jammy?
-
• #1821
The chainstays were cracked on the inside, small line of tig weld on each one...
-
• #1822
Ah, did wonder with it being a lugged frame. Proper job!

Nice! Bike, work done and cost!
Ok, I'm gonna brace myself for the inevitable torrent of abuse... >_< ... but what defines a "beater"?!
-

start on page 1, read the thread, should give you a good idea.

Ok, have already read from start to finish before I started posting and get that a rat is old and well used bike that is still desirable (at least to some). So is a beater much the same, but NOT desirable?!
