Not worth nicking, and can ascend any hill quickly at 55GI.
Now has a Kona P2 fork and at 65 GI. Unbreakable and faster than a fixed in Traffic.

Wooha! Luv that one! Wich frame is it?
Btw, any recomendations on a straigh-blade skinny-ass cyclocross/cantilever fork? Cheers!

Somebody on another forum spotted this bike in downtown NY
I bet it would look pretty nice in an actual photo shoot. Great definition of a rat bike.

I saw stacks of bikes like that when I visited NY. Lots of rare old frames parked up with a gnarly bare chain that has taken all the paint off it. I know they have a pretty harsh winter but the long dry summer must stop them deteriorating.

That and excellent chrome plating - i believe older frames used a stronger chemical bath to achieve the plating that has since been discontinued due to high polution.. i might be wrong.

Indeed
Cr6 (Hexavalent Chromium) banned under the RoHS directive over 10years ago.Back in the 70s/80s a lot of italian builders were chrome plating and putting a coloured lacquer over it - Chromovelato

any idea what rack is that on the walvale??
hella anti on account of the thickslick, shimano A.N.T.I chain, ridiculous spoke count that negates the aerodynamics of the wheels, plastic BMX pedals, also ergostem would feel ridiculous set up like that, i know this is rat not hhsb or porn but someone should save that
