this is incredible, considering one went before christmas with almost the same spec for £600....
the condition was better and the spec slightly better, but thats a huge difference, this is seriously being given away. http://www.lfgss.com/thread31939.html#post1075519Yes but then LeCorbeau sold a very similar one in December for £300ish I think and he eventually let another smaller one go for £150 just before Christmas. Which I thought was criminally cheap as they were (are) beautiful bikes, with great spec in near perfect condition.

Understatement of the year, I paid £160 for what's basically a beater the other week and that was knocked down!
Dude I feel your pain. I bought a sweet (but plain gauge and quite heavy) 60s french road bike in December for £200. I thought that was a pretty good price given the near pristine condition and interesting spec (mafac brakes, huret gears etc). Turns out I don't have room for it and need the cash for other impulse purchases and despite listing the thing several times in several places and dropping the price to £150 I still can't get any interest. The only two phonecalls I had from gumtree were blaggers after a free bike!
January is the cruelest month (for selling bicycles).
That Vitus is a bargainous lovely.

Was one of my first proper road bikes and did my fastest ever TT times on it 23 mins. FRame broke in the end but with out a doubt the best bike I have ever had. I need a 49 or 51 cm frame. Am always looking out for one. Good luck with yours it will sell no problem.
