  • PM'd ^

  • I'm not going to get out north of town on Sunday now and have ride planned for Monday. Does anyone want my Ladies Ticket, for Ladies? PM me and I'll pass on my email ticket thing.

  • I'll take a spare ticket if anyone has one. (I am a male, are the tickets gender specific Opiumia?, if not I'll grab yours off you.) PM me!

  • Nah, non actually gender-specific. I'll forward my ticket!

  • I got your pm, you have a reply!

  • Slight mix-up, no longer need ticket...

  • Space still available!!! Beer, chips and Roubaix on telly afterwards!

  • pm'd you opiumia ~

  • anyone know where this is starting? Dan passed me his invite, with registration confirmation etc, but up to now I've been unable to locate where the start point is, would hate to waste it.

  • Was in highgate near the flask last year. I'm assuming same again this year

cool thanks, working on this as the route then - [ame]http://www.bikemap.net/route/1499103[/ame]

  • Is it best to park at the finish and cycle up to the start at Highgate?

  • What are the bike security arrangements at the finish?

  • assuming everything is the same there is guarded bike parking (and bike wash) - they give you a raffle ticket....but then don't check it when it's time to pick up. No probs though - it all looked pretty secure.

As for the parking question I would say ride Barnet to Highgate after...nice little warm down.

  • Thanks Fausto - any idea where to park in Highgate?

  • Lovely stuff, two puncture 10 minutes apart, one coming from a torn tire wall which was just great. Wonderful to get back and see Boonen steam roll his way in to the lead and show everyone how it's done proper.

  • great morning out, somehow managed to get round on my carbon road bike running 23c tyres without a single puncture, though I seemed to have the filthiest bike when I arrived at the pub. Nice to meet some forums bods, and then free beer and frittes with Boonen smashing it just topped it off nicely.

Nice day out. Rode in a group of four, all on crossers, two punctures between us, both on road within a few miles of each other. Impressed by flint's ability to shred Schwalbe Marathon tyers.

Will be riding that route again - our board walk diversion towards the water pit was especially entertaining and surreal.

  • ^ hope you don't mind - have lifted the great shot of me in the puddle to show my bike in action.

Lovely ride - great route - Thanks Rapha.

  • Photos are Steev's - might be worth giving him a hat-tip linking to his Flickr page.

Surprised that Ridley hasn't gone yet?

    urreal.

five of use all on 23s no punctures....

  • Yeah luck of the draw isn't it - I was on 35mm contis with zero puncture protection, the lady on 28mm marathons and the others on 23mms. One marathon and one 23mm went, both on road caused by flint shards within a few miles of each other.

  • Anyone signed up for this years/got tickets?

  • This hasn't been announced yet has it? Couldn't find info on google
