2010-04-10 Sat - The London Tweed Run 2

I hate to be critical, but there is something not right about the legs of the cyclist on the new poster. They are both on this of the tube-tube, (riding side saddle?) but one doesn't have a foot.

It's historically correct.

I'm pretty sure Rapha will release new Tweed Run stuff for this year.

I guess so Ed, just hope they do same socks.

marshal pre-rides were great - though nothing can prepare you for the behemoth that is the full tweed run. I was so drained by the end of the ride. (then shortly after drowned in gin).

So...how many times round Parliament Sq this year?

Up for marshalling again, I think the task was far less complicated and more organic than first thought.

The pre ride paid itself fully, despite being almost unprepared for the sheer number of cyclists, least we managed to make change in organising the marshalling instead of sticking to the original plan (which were going by different batches).

I reckon some 'on-the-day' deputies would be a good idea.

There's no way I could make it for all the pre-rides, but I really enjoyed helping out on the day under the supervision of a marshal. Maybe every marshal could nominate a deputy!
