• #32
Oh yeah you work round the corner... Mike i certainly wont be offended if you wanna join in with the hearse...either way say hello and hack away if you want :)

guys - you might need to meet earlier if you want to join the bike hearse convoy…
In keeping with Paul/Fiddy/ 50/14 this will be a celebration of the man and his interests
hence a cycle cortège and a bike drawn hearse.
**- the meetup place and time
Furnival Gardens for 1PM departure.
- the route
http://www.gmap-pedometer.com/?r=3434511
**The vehicular hearse will transfer Fiddy to the bicycle hearse in the roads next to Furnival Gardens.
Riders who wish to pedal for a stint on the hearse should make themselves known via PM to Dancing James.
**
Object is leading the ride and will pace it and the stops so that we arrive at Mortlake Crematorium at 2.30pm.the bicycle hearse will lead and the vehicular hearse will be at the rear of the cortège****.

I think I misread the post but it all depends on work. What time does one need to be in Mortlake to take part in the hearse? I doubt I will be able to get there in time so one suits me for a nice chilled ride down there

It departs from Furnival Gardens, which is in Hammersmith, near to the Ship, at 1pm and gets to Mortlake Crematorium at 2:30pm.
If you want to get to Furnival Gardens in time you're going to have to leave Old street at 12pm or before.

Any idea of a route for the ride westward? I might try and join you at Marylebone/St. James sort of area if it's convenient.

Don't want to throw spanner in works here, but is anyone riding from East to Furnival Gdns, for 1pm?

Actually scratch that, that's a surefire way to get lost and/or hold everyone up. Furnival @ 1pm.
I was thinking a similar thing, might make my own way there as I'd like to try and be there well before the service... Depends what time I can get away from work tho'...
