Well every time I paid less than £20 the haircut lasts about a week then needs doing again. I have abnormally thick hair which grows faster than Usain Bolt. I just paid £32 on Upper Street and its spot on - il let you know if it lasts longer than 3 weeks - the judgement of value in my opinion.

Yes £32 is very expensive, yes judge me for snobbery, but I just couldnt be arsed walking any further, I walked past a salon with a vacant appointment and walked in, sat down, got cut. Jobs a gooden.

Ask them to cut it shorter

It's those cheap scissors they use, it means the hair grows back faster.

Jeffs Barbers - Great Suffolk Street, Borough. Best cut and wet shave by far. £20.

Any recommendations for a barber's that is open lateish (until 8 or so) somewhere central (Waterloo, Covent Garden, West End).

Either walk-in or can make a late appointment. Up to about £25 I guess (I normally go for the Mr Topper's £9 special). Cheers

Not sure how late they're open, I used to go to the harsh guy next to five star fish bar on NKR... maybe also somewhere down OKR. That's if you want a hardcore barber's cut for a tenner including beard.

I miss that guy. Costs me £15 now and they don't even trim my beard.
