  • In all seriousness, and your point is?

  • We may have new rules coming from geneva later this week, will keep you posted, they might be based on the new NA rules.

  • In all seriousness, and your point is?

My point is merely that if we are playing these rules, then I think it's worth pointing out the ones that we aren't familiar with. That's it. No biggie.

  • STOP telling people to stop moaning.

    +1

  • Been chatting with Clement, about what GVA are thinking, should have some pretty final rules in a day or two.

  • We NEED boards to cover the goals/entrances at Newington, does anyone have any?

  • We NEED boards to cover the goals/entrances at Newington, does anyone have any?

    could estate agent boards work?

  • Remember how flimsy the Rapha boards were?
I'd wager the estate agents boards would end up doing the same.

  • probably, but definitely better than nothing.

if there is a timber supply near by it might be worth getting a few sheets of thin ply.

  • travis perkins just up the road, opposite ray's firm

LHBPA boards will do the job. I can organise getting them up there & back, but it'll cost £40. If anyone has wheels, and is willing to make a trip to deepest South West London, that would be a better option.

  • I have a car, but it aint big enough.

  • I have a car, but it aint big enough.

Yeah, it def needs a van.

  • could we borrow a roof rack off the forum?

Oh and thanks Lal for putting up the notices today :D

  • Yeah, it def needs a van.

we only need 4 of the boards though eh bill? They'll fit in a car. my car probs.

  • Oh and thanks Lal for putting up the notices today :D

    Where's my volunteer prize?

  • sorry there aint one.

Gabes - i'll bring along 2 clip boards too might be a good idea to print the schedules out on a4's for the refs etc.

  • Yep, that's the plan!

  • OK, so final schedule is done (http://bit.ly/9ssjUN)

we need a few people there to sweep early on sunday (and bring brooms), and someone to put up notices later this week saying we'll start at 10am (we'll be there from 9, but make them think we'll be there from 10).

    We need refs.

We had a list somewhere, but I can't remember where it is now.

I'm chasing GVA for the rules they will use, so far they have told me it's the same rules as Greifmasters.

We will probably have no lights on Sunday, so we will have to make sure all games are done before 8pm. There is lots of time in Gabes schedule which aims to finish by 4.30pm, but we are assuming we'll have two courts all day...

  • Also, some players favour particular ends of the courts ..apparently someone doesn't like charging 'uphill' ;-)

Will the teams on the left column have the northern end and the teams in the right column have the southern end?

  • Whats up with the lights at newington?

  • been 'tampered' with, we think.

  • Louis can we arrange pick up of the boards on friday? pm

we can flip a coin and left lady luck decide for us...

  • I thought usually it's more of a sun in the eyes issue than an uphill/down hill thing. But yeah, Coin flips seem to work best.
