I've been looking at the scheduling for this.

Round Robin format, we all play each other. That's 12 games each over the course of a day.

13 Rounds, with each team getting a bye in 1 round. 10 minute games, Golden Goal if required. 2 minutes to switch over for the next game.

That's 7h48m over 2 courts.

I'm suggesting we start play at 10am at Newington, till 6pm. Maybe this will run over a bit cos of some golden goal games, but I think getting draws in karlsruhe sucked.

I'm planning on a proper schedule for this, so people know roughly when they need to be around and when they can go get some food etc.

PS This is just the basic table of games, it's using the "balanced" round robin algorithm, that promises equal number of home/away games for leagues, which is perfect, as we can have an equal number of games on court A and court B at newington. I will do some more formatting later etc, and update when that's done.

The time limit on games and GoldenGoal or draw system is undecided, we all have different ideas, so I think it's best to go to a poll.

So chatting with a few people yesterday, it seems we should aim to all be there at 9am, and the sweeping crew earlier. We need to secure both courts for the day, and Hops was saying there's been a lot of footie players there recently, so we need to get in before hand.

It would be worth putting up notice signs of what's going on in advance and on the day. We did that last year along with lists of nearby courts. It helped with the explanation when the cops came down and camped out first thing in the morning...
