OK so the first one was fucking ace, my forum cherry-pop night. They were gentle with me! Standout memories are the grumpy restaurant lady, willski being a funny fuck, (in fact meeting tons of people I now consider good friends), the deer being shifty and Corny being so fucking friendly and welcoming to me. Downhill from there ;)

The second one I did out of thanks, was a mellow night, on a monday so not large. A neat little group and we had fun. I suddenly remember Goochgate, BRM, you on putney bridge looking pained, and snowy on some kind of ladybike. You still haven't given me that fucking saddle back so I can mend the damage your shonky seatpin did to you/it.

So nice one nny! (I'm glad you wrote what you did at the top about ambivalence regarding what exaclty it is that's being commemorated.) I'll see if I can make the ride, tusdays/thurs are never easy for me early on, but nevertheless I'll try to swing down to the roebuck late stylee.
