At this time of year a nice warm pudding wins.

What together.. black pudding and apple.. you on drugs

I made black pudding and apple stuffing for the Christmas chicken. It was lovely. Great combination of flavours.

Tho' interestingly, you can get a dessert black pudding in Spain... Google morcilla... That would work in a pie with some apple... Or even a crumble, if that's your bag...

The only times I've come accross is in favada, caldo or with pintxos.

No, but there is a sweet version... I found this out after a wild gig in Galicia, the only thing in the fridge back at our luxury, converted farmhouse digs was some morcilla... We drunkenly fried it up and had it on bread with some ketchup... It was truly vile... ;]
