No. Once set, once signed up, once deposits have been paid... people will ride even if there is a storm.
Well, most will.
I'm buckling and will have to get some better sleeping bags than what we have. Any suggestions? 2-3 season ones that are light and pack small would be nice... within a reasonable budget of course (I've had a look, these things can get silly).
i am looking for a small but warm sleeping bag which doesn't cost too much too...
tesco direct actually seem to have some good deals...

don't know if they are any good...

To moi? For wanting sleeping bags that weigh less than 2.5KG each and might actually be warm? I'm afraid mine are the cheap festival variety purchasable in Millets... they're effectively useless outside of a few months in the summer if you happen to have had a car to hand to move the things.
#alpkit or Cumulus are reasonable on the price for what you get. (i.e not Ph designs prices) will last too if looked after. There is not really any point in going for a halfway house IMO.

Is there a way to post pone the trip?
Sure, we can cancel everyone's bookings and wait until you're ready if that helps?

not sure that is gonna pack down into a pannier... might have to settle for a big top

I've got a really cheap sleeping bag, but I'm going to rough it. Keep some clothes on and brave it out. How cold can it get, right? Right?
Unpacked the tent at the weekend. Hanging up in the garage to get some air. It's a LOT bigger and heavier than I remember - a real festival special. Still, should keep the rain off for the night.

Wasn't the Millennium Dome built to be temporary, or have I just made that up? And, if not, then when is it coming down?

A homing tent. That would be a hell of an invention; ride home, whistle loud, and it comes running and packs itself away.
